Clare Holmes
What more can I say but ‘I love my job!’ I have amazing students, a fabulous studio and lots of support. I started Decorative Painting in 1996 and haven’t looked back. In 2000 I began teaching in adult education at my local college; now I run 8 classes a week and do regular workshops and parties in my own studio in Tilgate Park, Crawley. While my painting has evolved, I still love it now as much as I did when I began. I still love to learn and develop new techniques to share with my weekly students and workshops. I am a lucky girl. I've been fortunate to have had lessons with many teachers from around the world, picking up ideas and tips along the way. I love to try new things, and now i am a stockist for Frenchic furniture paint, which is simply amazing.

Our Mission
My mission as an art teacher is to develop and teach art from beginner level and beyond including art techniques that anyone can grasp and take forward in their own compositions. Art appreciation and visual awareness is fundamental to intellectual growth and creates self-expression.
